One Third of the Holocaust Refuted

Back in June 2006, an anonymous Holocaust denier from the San Francisco area, whom Sergey Romanov dubbed the "Ugly Voice" and who dubbed himself "DenierBud," posted a four hour and fifteen minute, thirty-part film, entitled One Third of the Holocaust, to YouTube. Soon, Jonathan Andersson of Sweden (a.k.a. Franz Holtzhäuser, a.k.a k0nsl) was hosting the film at his own Web site. Sergey Romanov, Roberto Muehlenkamp, and Andrew E. Mathis of the Holocaust Controversies blog decided to refute the film part by part. Although "Bud" has known of our work over the past several months and has linked to our work, he will not publish work on his site that, according to his own words, is not written by an associate or full professor of history at a university.

Three of the five operators of this blog are college professors, albeit not associate or full professors (yet). One is a Ph.D. in history, with a dissertation covering the period. The two other blog members are a German national with an education in law and a Russian national living in Moscow with access to the Soviet archives of the period under "debate."

Suffice it to say we believe we are qualified to respond.

Here are links to the separate parts of the film, each followed by the refutation. Some of our posts address more than one part of the film, so our posts are sometimes repeated. We apologize for any iterations, and we thank our fourth partner, Nick Terry, for his help in composing these pieces.
